Monday, ATMOSFAR got a release for this month. Tuesday, it is May, what do you expect to be announced a month before the cavalcade of BS that is countless showcases that ruin my life? Wednesday, we found out the games added to Game Pass after its price drop were announced, and you can pick up things that are certainly described as interesting games as part of Humble Bundle. Thursday, Mina the Hollower got a release date, and Vitar Games got a new trailer and a Steam page set up for Dig In.
Moving on to the Epic Games Store, I think we’ll start with the mobile offering, because otherwise, I’ll make myself sick later on. Smarto Club’s 2021 release, Teacup, is a narrative adventure game about an adorable little frog as she gathers the stuff for her tea party. So how will it make me feel sick? The art style is lovely, but I think the texture work is maybe too good, so I start thinking “that’s printed in a book,” but I know I am looking at a screen. It is a very nice adventure-book style, but I can’t look at it for too long.
The PC offerings start with an art style that is equally as weird, but in a slightly less brain-melting way. Furniture & Mattress LLC’s 2024 game, Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure, is a colorful grid-based puzzle game that I know I’ll never get around to playing. It is one of those games where I know I like the look of it, but I’ll seldom actively find the time to play it. Though that might just be a reviewing problem.

I could also say the same for the second offering this week, even though I know I’d probably like it to some degree. Still, Trash Goblin is one of those shop sims mixed with refurbishment gameplay, a bit like a mix of the job sims akin to PowerWash Sim, but also the shop sims like Supermarket Sim. That’s not a 1-for-1 comparison, but something to get across the idea. Alexx quite enjoyed it in early access, but also gave an accessibility report on it now in full release.
All this week, you can pick up Teacup on the Epic Games Store for mobile, and you can pick up both Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure and Trash Goblin on PC. Onto this week, and I want to fling myself off of a car park, headfirst. It is that time of the year again, so there is a sale on the Epic Games Store, and as a result, next week’s offerings are a mystery.
