CRKD Launching Next-Gen Controller with ULT PRO

CRKD is a top name in gaming accessories and controllers. For me, the CRKD Nitro Deck literally became the only way I played my OG Switch in handheld mode. With several other controller and rhythm gaming products in its lineup, the company continues to push the capabilities of today’s gaming accessories. Their latest addition, the ULT PRO controller, looks to be a major competitor in the professional gaming space, and with enthusiasts playing across platforms at home.

The ULT PRO from CRKD will be compatible with Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch, as well as with PC, mobile devices, tablets, and Smart TVs. The headline here with the ULT PRO is the inclusion of TMR Thumbsticks (Tunneling Magnetoresistance), which are the next generation of stick drift-resistant design. Versatility is also a goal, and players who opt to pick up the ULT PRO can play in several ways, including 2.4GHz wireless via the included dongle, Bluetooth®, and USB-C wired play.

The CRKD ULT PRO also includes six additional remappable inputs, adjustable trigger travel, swappable components, and advanced configuration through the CRKD Companion App. The adjustable trigger travel, in particular, catches my eye. The rechargeable battery is easy to keep juiced up with the included charging dock, and looks great, as you can see from the press photos. I know many people think they already have their favorite go-to controller, but I have a feeling the ULT PRO is going to become just that for many players across PC, Nintendo consoles, and mobile.
