Monday, Apple Crumble got a release date and I was singing about killing someone stabbing grannies, the DLC for Marvel Cosmic Invasion got a November release date, and FM27 keeps getting sexier and sexier with each deep dive. Tuesday, Stupid Never Dies is proven by politics every 2-5 years, but this week’s deep dive is very artsy. Wednesday, The Lady Greyhounds are now in EA FC 27, and Sushi on Wheels got a release date. Thursday, MAFATE got a demo ahead of today’s Steam Next Fest, and Xbox finally made a small controller that wasn’t huge, but it’s also priced the same.
Onto the Epic Games Store, and it is the double bill we saw on the horizon last week. We’ll start with Bad Cheese since it is the “horror” offering this week, simply because of its Fleischer-esque style. Which I think is unfair, as Fleischer did the early Popeye films, Betty Boop, the Gabby films, Bimbo The Pup, and so on, none of which are horror. Bad Cheese itself goes for the Rick and Morty style of let’s throw horrible things at you, which just so happens to use that black-and-white, 1930s style of film animation in a not-so-interesting way.

The second offering for PC and the only offering for mobile this week is Yak & Co’s 2019 puzzle mystery game, Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise. Is this the type of disguise where James Bond, an internationally known serial killer and sex pest, gives his name at every chance he gets? Because it is in the title, and the puzzle aspect does come in the form of a point-and-click adventure, but given the other option, I don’t mind that. I also quite like the art style, using the Art Deco swav design of the setting, matched with what is maybe not a colorful backdrop but something that’s visually interesting.
All this week, you can pick up Bad Cheese and Agent A: A Puzzle in Disguise on the Epic Games Store, with the latter available on the mobile app too. Moving on to next week, and it is two less visually interesting options. Sker Ritual is a zombie/monster themed version of The Killing Floor. For those that don’t want a shooter, there is BancyCo’s 2012 game Home: A Unique Horror Adventure, which is so short it can take me longer to write and edit this article and then upload images, when putting it online.
