One of my most anticipated games of the year is coming in October. Stupid Never Dies seems like goofy, action-packed fun, and I’m ready to see more. Now, Sega and GPTRACK50 have issued a new trailer showcasing more of the game.

In the Deep Bite #1 trailer, Director Eiichiro Sasaki shows off the Funky Zombie Action players can experience when Stupid Never Dies launches on PC and PlayStation 5 on October 21st. Here is what the press release says about the trailer and the game.

“What’s the one thing a Zombie doesn’t have to worry about when battling the underworld’s worst of the worst? Dying, obviously! And with that little pesky fear taken out of the equation, Davy is free to attack relentlessly and without consequence – why dodge when you can just take a punch and keep on going?

As Davy ventures deeper into the depths of KOM’s domain, he’ll gain more powers – chomping on the beats and absorbing their styles using Style Eat, collecting their over-technology to upgrade his own body at Acelino’s body shop with Body Hack, and stacking energy to unleash his ultimate attack, Davy Burst. What’s more is that each dive into the depths of hell allows Davy to stack XP bonuses, making his powers increase exponentially over a short period of time.

Set in a monster-ruled otherworldly dungeon, Stupid Never Dies puts you in control of Davy, a timid zombie living at the very bottom of monster society. Defeat enemies, level up, and collect strange items to grow stronger on your quest to bring Julia, a frozen human girl, back to life.

Steal enemy abilities, customize your undead body with bizarre upgrades, and experience fast-paced combat packed with innovation.

Developed by GPTRACK50, a new studio formed by veteran action game developers, Stupid Never Dies delivers a single-player 3D action RPG experience unlike anything you’ve played before.”

As previously mentioned, Stupid Never Dies will be released on PC and PlayStation 5 on October 21st. I’m really excited to see more, and I assume we’ll get more deep dives like this one leading up to the launch. Either way, now is a good time to wishlist or get that pre-order in.
