It is no surprise that I love vampires. As we near Halloween, I find myself rewatching classics and enjoying some of my favorite vampire media. Surprisingly, I also got an update on Unfold Games’ new game, which I have had my eye on for some time.

Bloody Hell Hotel released a new gameplay trailer over the weekend, showcasing the upcoming first-person hotel management sandbox game. We don’t have a full release date, but Bloody Hell Hotel is now aiming for a 2027 launch after surpassing an interesting milestone. Here is what the press release says about the latest announcement:

“Unfold Games and publisher Gambit Digital have unveiled a brand-new gameplay trailer for Bloody Hell Hotel, their upcoming first-person vampire hotel management sandbox, now scheduled for release in 2027.

Of course, running a hotel as a vampire comes with its own set of challenges.

The latest trailer showcases an expanding range of interconnected gameplay systems, from renovating and decorating guest rooms to farming, cooking, crafting, and blacksmithing, alongside dungeon exploration and combat.

I can’t help but be excited to run a spooky hotel in 2027. The dark humor mixed with cozy gameplay hits all the right notes for this time of year, and Bloody Hell Hotel is right there with Grave Seasons on my “anticipated spooky cozy games” list. Here’s hoping we get a full release date soon.
