The amount of time I have spent in Cloverpit could either be considered shameful or impressive, depending on your perspective. The slot-machine-based Rogue-like is a ton of fun, with an engaging gameplay loop I could get lost in for days. Now, more players will be able to experience it, thanks to a brand-new announcement.

Thanks to the hard work of developer Panik Arcade, Cloverpit is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. These console ports will land on August 13^th, including performance enhancements as well as all post-launch updates thus far. Here is what the press release says about Cloverpit’s console release.

“CloverPit launched last year and became a viral indie mega hit, counting over 5 million players across Steam, Game Pass and mobile! The game has been fully optimised for Nintendo Switch 2 (mouse controls, improved performance), Nintendo Switch, PS5 /PS4 (DualSense and DualShock light fun!) and has all post-launch updates included! If you’ve ever wanted to gamble for your life between stops or before bed, you’re in luck.

Developed by Panik Arcade and published by Future Friends Games, CloverPit blends Rogue-lite progression, combo-building strategy, and escape-room-style psychological horror with a gambling twist.

CloverPit is the demonic lovechild of Balatro and Buckshot Roulette, a Rogue-lite that traps players in a hell of their own creation. Locked in a rusty cell with a slot machine and an ATM, players must pay off their debt at the end of each round, or fall to ruin – literally.

Manipulate the slot machine to earn extra coins. Turn the odds in your favor with various prizes and charms that trigger big combos. Plan ahead and find the best strategies to get the game snowballing into a dazzling, lucky run. Bend the rules, break the game, and pay off your debts!”

Cloverpit is already available on Xbox, PC, and Mobile devices, but now this announcement will bring the game to all major platforms. I love that more people will be able to enjoy my favorite demonic slot machine game, and hopefully we’ll see more updates ahead. If not, I know lots of folks will enjoy the horrors of gambling (the real story of Cloverpit) across all major platforms.
