Over 60 games got the spotlight during the 2026 PC Gaming Show presented by PC Gamer. There’s a ton to go through, so rather than walk through every single update, we’re going to hit the highlights you need to know about. From a killer start to the event to great reveals and game announcements paired with demos, there’s a lot to love if you game on PC. Let’s go through the top reveals and announcements from this year’s PC Gaming Show 2026.

To start the show, Star Trek: Outposts Unknown really set the tone for the event. An outpost building simulator, you’ll partner with a crew to set up outposts and grow your reach in the galaxy. There’s a ton of potential here with the rise in popularity of crafting and survival games, but the Star Trek IP also goes a long way toward making this a must-play.

A demo is now available for Star Trek: Outposts Unknown on Steam.

This reveal took me down memory lane. Company of Heroes: Definitive Edition will send us back to 2006’s RTS game with a fresh coat of paint and tons of quality-of-life updates. Wishlistable now on Steam, you will also get access to the Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor expansions as part of the collection. I’m pretty sure everyone who was gaming on PC in the 2000s will have some memories of Company of Heroes, and a lot of us will be diving back in the minute it’s live on the digital stores.

Red Kiss had its world premiere, putting us in the front row of a vampire narrative RPG set in Cold War Berlin. The game’s art style really blew me away, and Developer Wispfire’s last game Herald was a favorite among narrative experience gamers. I hope people give this one a shot when it releases, although no date was provided.

Serious Sam is back, and this time, players will enjoy a co-op roguelite FPS for 1 – 5 players. Blast through shifting universes, stack wild boons, bend the rules with run modifiers, and hunt Mental’s deadliest forces. The footage from the Serious Sam: Shatterverse reveal was really great, and I could see it catching on with a dedicated niche audience.

Do any fans of Serious Sam really love this one? I’m not a huge fan of the series, but I’ve played quite a few of them. There’s a lot to say about a series that’s been around this long, and if Shatterverse makes a splash, maybe we’ll see more of Sam in the future.

Into The Wind is certainly one of the bigger reveals gaining traction online. There’s a great art style to this sky combat game, which also includes elements of home decorating, exploration, and an open world to make your own. The team behind the game, Bloom & Gloom Games, is only 10 people, but this showed so well. I have high hopes for this game when it releases in Early Access in the future.

One of my favorite sim games is getting a sequel, and we got our first look! Planet Zoo 2 is going to work to expand all the great work set up in the first game. Developer and publisher Frontier Developments is including a lot more flying and aquatic animals in this round, which should help with some of the sameness the first game offered in terms of grass or dirt terrains.

I loved the console version, so hopefully we see it come one day to Xbox and PlayStation, but for now, PC gamers will get this one first on October 16.

The latest game from the developer of Citizen Sleeper got a world premiere. Signet City is a first-person fungalpunk RPG. How’s this for a setup? You play as a parasite in a city where strange technologies and radical ideas are taking root. Grow into and through its inhabitants, uncover and change their stories, and witness the terminal season of the Signet City. Games like 1000xResist and other Fellow Traveler games are always in discussion for Indie of the Year, so I’d not be surprised if this ends up in the same camp when it eventually releases.

How about another remaster of a game many hold deep nostalgia for if you were gaming in the 2000s? Thief: The Dark Project Remastered invites players to once again play as Garrett, master thief, in this remastered classic by Nightdive Studios. No release date yet, but I can imagine we’ll see more of this soon, as the team shared they’ve been working on this one for quite some time, although it’s still in pre-alpha according to Steam screenshots.

If you didn’t check out the award-winning Duskers, you’ll have some time before the release of this sequel from Misfits Attic. For a lot of folks, strategy games are hit or miss, but there’s a great blend of eeriness and mystery to exploring old broken spaceships. You’ll work to rescue people stuck in cryochambers as you work through wreckage, and who knows what else is in store behind these creepy breakdown sites.

A great little co-op game called Sunset Summit will likely be the talk of the town when it eventually releases. Working with items like pogo sticks and booster pills, you and your squad will work to summit a mountain. What could possibly go wrong? A lot of these friend-fun games are making a splash on Steam, so I’m sure co-op fans will anxiously await this one, which happens to look pretty great visually.

Possibly my favorite reveal of the show, Total War: Warhammer 40,000 is the futuristic sect of the Warhammer franchise getting the Total War treatment. No release date yet, but I can’t wait to check this one out.

Slim on details but heavy on aura, Vampire: The Masquerade – Eternal Whispers will be a narrative-driven CRPG set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe. The trailer showed well, and I can’t wait to learn more once details start to trickle out leading up to its launch.

The biggest reveal of PC Gaming Show 2026 was not a new game, but the announcement of Valheim: 1.0. One of the biggest games of the last few years, Valheim is still picking up new fans, and will continue to do so as it launches on consoles. There are few survival crafting games that made this much of an impact on the scene, so it’s great to see the team ready to launch its first full take on the game.
