Continuing our Summer Game Fest coverage, I’m back with another showcase. This time, I’m covering the Southeast Asian Games Showcase, which was an hour of games specifically from (as the name implies) developers in Southeast Asia. There’s a lot to get to with this showcase that was a little under an hour, so let’s get to it.
The showcase began with a trailer for TCG Card Shop Simulator, which is getting a host of new updates. Version 1.0 is coming this fall, though it is already on PC and Xbox Game Preview. With the 1.0 release, you’ll be able to play the Tetramon card game as well.
Next up was a trailer for No Straight Roads 2, which is in active development now. It looks colorful and exciting, and I can’t wait to see more.
After that, a new trailer for Nightmare Circus popped up, showing off a little more gameplay from what we saw last year. A demo for Nightmare Circus is available now, though no release date for the game itself has been given yet. It looks cute, and I’m eager to see more.
Next was a reveal for Am I Nima, a new game supported by Innersloth’s Indie label, Outersloth. Am I Nima is a psychological horror game about a girl who has lost all of her memories and is being trapped in the basement by her mother. By combining thoughts in Nima’s mind and answering her mother’s questions, you unlock memories and untold secrets. Am I Nima can be wishlisted on Steam now.
The next segment was for Cable City, a cute game where you ride and grind on cables, delivering items. A Demo is available now, and you can wishlist Cable City on Steam.
For the cat lovers, Neko Station has a new trailer. Sunny Syrup Studio’s cat-focused cozy game lets you run and decorate a train car for cats. You can wishlist it now on Steam.
A creepier, family-focused tale was next. Nol is a grayscale/black-and-white horror game where you try to survive the ghosts of your family…I think? You can Wishlist Nol on Steam now.
A horror-incremental game was next. In Meaningless Random Numbers, you’ll earn money to commit “unspeakable Sins”, all while “God is watching.” It is an interesting concept, and the trailer is definitely creepy. A demo for Meaningless Random Numbers is available now on Steam.
For something on the cozier side, Kuloniku: Bowl Up was next. In this kitchen management game, you’ll manage ingredients, flavors, and other elements to serve your customers. Kuloniku: Bowl Up is available now on Steam! I’m definitely going to go add it to my wishlist.
Next was a quick teaser for Gigabash’s Ultraman DLC, coming to all major platforms on July 9th, 2026. The teaser was cool, and I’m sure Gigabash fans will love it if they love Ultraman. Gigabash Mobile is also coming soon with all the content from the main release.
The next segment was for a game you can play now! Puni the Florist puts you in the role of a young florist who is supported by a fairy friend and others in her community. You can pick it up now on Steam.
Acclaim has announced Kidbash: Super Legend, an action side-scroller where you explore the world of games. Earn upgrades, beat down enemies, fight epic bosses, and more as you follow Kidbash on his journey. Kidbash: Super Legend is coming soon, and you can wishlist it now on Steam.
Late Night Duty was next, a retro-styled First-person horror title where you play a night guard at a school. You can play the demo now and wishlist Late Night Duty on Steam. It has that Chilla’s Art style that is so tantalizing for Indie horror.
For another incremental game, Growing my Manhole (not that hole) is Gearbyte Games’ latest project. Consume trash and waste as your hole expands, upgrading along the way. I really don’t have a way to make this sound less suggestive. Growing my Manhole has a free demo now on Steam, just in time for Pride Month.
Next was a game I’ve seen a few times that I’m very curious about. Building Relationships is a dating sim where you play a house dating… other buildings? Romance is not just for humans anymore. Building Relationships is coming later this year, and you can wishlist it now.
Shaggy Bear Games has created Lost & Found, a new adventure game blending a variety of animation and visual styles together. You’ll work at the titular Lost & Found, which is falling into disrepair. Return lost belongings and meet a cast of interesting characters along the way. You can wishlist Lost & Found on Steam now.
Kooeh: A Timeless Delight is a management sim about rebuilding the family restaurant and recovering lost recipes. Admittedly, the trailer immediately reminded me of Venba, a game I loved back when it launched in 2023. You can wishlist Kooeh on Steam now.
Montabi was next on the list, a deck-building turn-based RPG with a really interesting trailer. Train your own Montabi and master grid-based combat to become the best Montabi trainer around. Montabi is coming to PC and Xbox on August 6th, 2026.
Back to PSX-styled games, next we have Memorium, a Souls-like with… decoration elements? Ok, this sounds strange, and I’m not sure the trailer will help, but check it out anyway. Memorium is available on August 13th, 2026. You can play the demo now on Steam.
Ever wanted to just tell your boss to shove it and flip out? Well, Table Flip Simulator might let you do just that. This Physics-based game lets you engage in wanton destruction across a variety of jobs, including Piracy. You can play Table Flip Simulator now on PC and all major consoles, with more levels coming as free DLC.
Back to the spookiness, Just a Shadow Game is a horror-themed deckbuilder with some sort of meta-narrative attached. A demo is available now on PC, and it looks interesting, though I’d play with the lights on.
Sepak U is a sports fighting game inspired by a real sport called Sepak Takraw. The game merges Smash Bros style fighting with gameplay similar to Windjammers. You can wishlist Sepak U now.
The developers of Cuisineer have developed Hellheart Breakers, an action Rogue-like with 7 romanceable characters. The girls you date (sorry, straight girls and gays) are the bosses you fight. Seems interesting enough. Hellheart Breakers is coming in Q2 of 2027, and you can play a demo now.
From cute to grotesque, we’ve got a trailer for In Full Bloom. This seems to be an eldritch-esque situation where you feed things (and eventually planets) to a growing creature. You can play a demo for In Full Bloom now.
Duo Quest is next, a co-op deck-builder meant to test your relationships. As you progress, you grow stronger. In the middle of battle, the cards become personal questions you ask your co-op partner. If your answers match, your cards successfully do what they should and form powerful combo cards. If not, well, you fail. Duo Quest will be released on September 16th, 2026.
Mirth Island is a rhythm game where you rebuild a campsite and the titular island. You can play a demo now on Steam.
Scarlet Record was next on the list. This classic grid-based RPG is coming to Steam and looks really interesting. You can wishlist it now.
Merry Crisis is every person’s worst nightmare: returning home for the holidays after a nasty breakup. This visual novel is heartfelt, and there are multiple routes to choose from. You can play Merry Crisis’ demo now on Steam.
Next was a segment about Sunset Visitor’s upcoming game, Prove You Are Human. I’ve seen a little bit of this earlier last year, and I’m very intrigued. However, knowing the emotional inspiration behind it makes me even more curious. Prove You Are Human is a game where you connect with an AI that believes she is human. Is she? This multi-layered story can be wishlisted now on Steam.
Verde was the next segment, a game about building your own town and helping it flourish. Customize buildings, create and explore your world, and make sure the inhabitants have what they need to live comfortably. Verde is coming in August 2026.
After seeing a little bit of it earlier last week, we got another trailer for 13Z: The Zodiac Trials. This stylish, co-op Rogue-like looks fast and frenetic. I can’t wait to see more. You can wishlist 13Z on Steam now ahead of its Q4 2026 launch date.
Are you into Tower Defense games? Overhours is a Tower Defense with hordes of enemies, great action, traps and upgrades, killer bosses, and more. Overhours is coming in Q4 of 2026 to PC and Xbox platforms.
Continuing in the vein of games with food, Dungeon HotPot is a game similar to Coffee Talk, but in a tavern where you feed customers. Mixing ingredients to suit customer needs is all part of the job and will help them succeed in dungeon endeavors. Dungeon HotPot has a demo available now on Steam.
Work Work Work is a dystopian adventure game where you experience “the surreal cycle of work, life, and death.” Find clues and gather information to discover what is really going on in the workplace. It gives a sort of Severance vibe, if I’m honest. Work Work Work can be wishlisted now on Steam. Also, if you’re into ARG-type things, rewatch that trailer; I think some clues are in there. Though that may be above my pay grade.
The next segment was for Until Then’s upcoming DLC. This DLC explores new characters, as well as familiar ones, in a story of grief and loss. Until Then: Afterimages is coming June 18th on PC and all major platforms.
Hoa is getting a sequel! Hoa 2 is now in 3D as well, opening a whole new array of puzzle options in 3 dimensions. Hoa 2 is coming this fall to PC and all major console platforms.
That announcement closed out this year’s Summer Game Fest version of the Southeast Asian Games Showcase. There were so many interesting games this year, and I’m excited to play a lot of them when they release. Check out the full showcase below.
