Clean Start gets November Release Date

Here at Phenixx Gaming, we love cozy cleaning games. It is even better when those games have heartfelt stories. Now, Amplified Games and Serious Sim Games have given a release date for their new cozy cleaning game, Clean Start.

Clean Start will be released on November 5^th, 2026. A new demo is available now on Steam as well, until the 13^th (this Thursday). Here is what the press release says about Clean Start:

“Amplified Games and Serious Sim are delighted to announce that Clean Start will launch on PC on Thursday, November 5, 2026. The cozy cleaning and organising game inspired by real stories of migration, memory, and finding connection in unfamiliar places will also unveil a new demo during Tiny Teams Festival (August 6 – 13).

The new demo showcases four rooms for players to clean and organise with a richer and more polished experience. Plus, the new dusting mechanic has been introduced; multiple quality-of-life improvements have been implemented, and achievements have been reworked based on feedback received during the playtests.

Developed by Polish studio Serious Sim, Clean Start follows Lena, a young woman navigating life and working in a foreign country. As Lena cleans and organises other people’s homes, she uncovers heartfelt stories through the objects she discovers, gradually piecing together each client’s history, all while struggling to communicate through her limited understanding of the local language. Clean Start has already passed 35,000 wishlists on Steam.”

Serious Sim will be hosting a variety of playtests leading up to Clean Start’s launch. You can keep an eye out for those on Serious Sim’s Discord, as well as other social media channels. I’m pretty eager to check out Clean Start, so I might check out the demo this week. You should do the same.
