Maybe I am just a little old man in a slightly younger old man’s body – which I believe is the motto of Grindr. The point still stands, though; I am in a slightly slower, cozy “era” (as the kids say) when it comes to many of the games I am looking forward to, and today’s coverage is another example of that. Bajka Games’ upcoming farming sim set in a near-futuristic apartment, Tiny Eden, got its release date yesterday, and it immediately went on my wishlist. Here is what the press release said about Tiny Eden and its upcoming release:

Tiny Eden, the cozy indoor farming sim from developer Bajka Games and publisher Digital Vortex Entertainment, will sprout on PC via Steam on Monday, Sept 7th, 2026. Move into your new apartment in a megapolis, where the bare walls and floors open out onto a seemingly endless sea of gray concrete and glass, and liven things up! With a single packet of seeds, some potting soil, and a bit of know-how, start a thriving indoor garden, one delicate plant at a time. Nurture strawberries, tomatoes, peas, and herbs on the windowsill, and watch as the once-drab apartment gradually fills with vibrant life.

Speaking more on the gameplay and setting, the press release notes: “Learn the growth cycles of each species, keep their soil watered and fertilized, and dispose of dead stems and leaves as the seasons progress. Expand the garden to new areas by picking out attractive planting pots that match your decor, and coordinate with the local gardening group on bigger projects.

Find new plants, recipes, and gardening equipment online, and harvest the fruits of your labor. Head to the kitchen to create delicious jams, sweets, pickles, and more to fill orders from your new neighbors and turn a cozy profit. As your garden thrives, so will your living space: Upgrade it with new furniture, floor treatments, light fixtures, and art – and make sure the cat has a nice place to sleep!

CEO of Polish developer Bajka Games, Aliaksandr Piskun, said: “Tiny Eden is a calming, meditative game about forming the small daily rituals that I’ve found have sustained me during sad times. Our goal was to create a place for players to slow down, live in the moment, and experience the gentle nature of plants and gardening.”

I know, as the person who covers the Wholesome Directs every year, it comes as no surprise I like a cozy little setting, but for some reason I’ve just gone head-first into this sort of thing lately. Tiny Eden looks like it is going to be a nice little podcast game or listening to certain albums while getting on your digital green thumb. As noted above, Tiny Eden will be releasing on Steam on the 7th of September, 2026. No word on release price, but we’re only 4 weeks out, so go wishlist Tiny Eden right now.
