Backrooms Anomaly: Pools Demo Out for Steam Next Fest

One funny thing about entertainment media is that once a trend gets going, it’s full steam ahead for anyone willing to make content in that space or theme. Starting as an anonymous 4chan post, the Backrooms might not seem all that enticing…

Pale Incense to get Steam Next Fest Demo

It is that hallowed season; the spooky and dark creep in as the days grow shorter. I love Halloween, and I love all things vampiric, gothic, witchy, etc. For all the cozy vibes I enjoy, games like Pale Incense are absolutely my…

DREADMOOR gets new demo

I am, if nothing else, a creepy-horrorsexual. This is drastically different from the jump-scaresexuals that YouTube harbors, as creepy-horror enjoys suspense, the uncomfortable atmosphere, and not jumping out of cupboards wearing fake breasts and an Angela Merkel mask while clanging saucepans together.…

Garden and a Goat (PC) Preview

Malware Tycoon (PC) Demo Preview

If I had a nickel for every game demo I’ve covered in the past month that centers around computer viruses in the Windows XP era, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it’s happened twice. What we’ve…

Tombwater Gets Updated Demo and Release Date

I’ve been following Tombwater for a while now. In fact, last month, I covered the announcement for the Character Archetypes that will be available. Now, the dev team for Tombwater has revealed a release date, as well as updates to the demo.…

Celestial Return (PC) Preview

It is very rare that I find a game that blends my love of detective games with narrative RPG elements. It is even more rare to find one that blends those things with a certain kind of weirdness that just captivates me…
