Total War: Pharaoh Dynasties (PC) Review

Of all the games that I thought that I would review again, Total War: Pharaoh was not one of them. When I reviewed it, I gave the game a 7.5/10, which was almost on par with other critics’ scores and a bit…

Dungeons of Hinterberg (PC) – Review

Set deep in the Austrian Alps, Microbird Games’ Dungeons of Hinterberg is one of those weird titles that seemed to explode out of nowhere and jump to the top of my wishlist. You play as Luisa Dorfer, a young Austrian woman with…

Lifeless Moon (PS5) Review

I have sat on this review longer than I sit on most, and I honestly have no idea why. Perhaps I am worried that it will be empty in some way or missing bits of important information that should be included. It…

There’s growing concern and conversation about the future of gaming as it pertains to where players play their favorite titles. Xbox and Microsoft are betting that the Cloud is the future; meanwhile, Sony is still, alongside Nintendo, firmly in the console space,…

The Star Named EOS (Nintendo Switch) Review

A video game’s ability to use a real-world medium for creativity and artistry as a key gameplay mechanic can be tricky to pull off. That said, photography has proved to be one such medium that translates well to a video game. In The…

Star Trek: Picard “Two of One” – Review

Deux deviennent un, since everyone wants to pretend they know French during the Olympics. Once again directed by Frakes we’re continuing with Cindy Appel but joined by Jane Maggs this time, and I believe this is where Matthew Okumura got a promotion.…
