Waterpark Simulator Splashes Onto Consoles

Waterpark Simulator has enjoyed considerable success in Early Access. The game has earned 1 million downloads and is set to finally launch with version 1.0. Better yet, there will be no price increase when the game exits Early Access. As if that wasn’t good news enough, we’re going to see the game arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at the end of the month with what the developers are essentially calling a massive transformation of the game as players know it so far. Here’s what we know thanks to the exciting update!

Originally releasing in Early Access in August 2025, the 1.0 version of Waterpark Simulator will launch just about a year after it first arrived on Steam. The game is set to launch in its full version on July 31 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Since first releasing in its Early Access version, streamers like CaseOh, Ironmouse, and more have helped skyrocket the game in hype and interest. Arriving in 1.0 is the most requested feature, multiplayer co-op, which adds to the chaos of the base game.

Along with the co-op feature, you’ll be able to fully customize waterslides, utilize a new beach map for your creations, and enjoy dynamic weather and a night mode. These are features that surely add to the depth of experience in what some have assumed was just a physics-based chaos title, which, let’s face it, is not a bad thing. In fact, part of the viral fun of Waterpark Simulator has been seeing people lean into the game’s comedy, including its first-person camera controls, guests falling into puddles, and visitors flying through the air after a waterslide ride gone wrong. I’ll be excited to give this a shot after hearing great things about it so far when the 1.0 version of Waterpark Simulator launches on July 31, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
