A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away… There were things that needed to be cleaned. Honestly, I’m amazed that this hasn’t happened already, considering the variety of collaborations FuturLab has done with various properties. However, a new intergalactic mess is needing cleanup work, coming later this summer.
That’s right, a Star Wars x PowerWash Simulator 2 DLC is coming this summer to all platforms where you can play PowerWash Simulator 2. You’ll be getting 3 main jobs, as well as getting to play as a droid with an exclusive power washer specifically for the DLC. It is set during the original trilogy (That’s 4, 5, and 6 for non-Star Wars fans) and will be full of nods to the series. Here is what the press release says about the upcoming pack:

“Independent UK developer and publisher FuturLab, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, has announced that PowerWash Simulator 2 – Star Wars™ Pack is coming this summer for PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2[,] and PC. The game’s second DLC invites players to clean up in a galaxy far, far away… where they can access iconic Star Wars locations like never before.
Set during the events of the original Star Wars trilogy, players will take on the role of class five labor droid, P0-W2. Wielding an exclusive power washer designed specifically for the pack, they’ll visit six iconic locations from the Star Wars™ galaxy, spanning from Hoth, to Tatooine and more to be revealed.

So far, three jobs have been announced: The foundational Lars Homestead, the unmistakable X-wing[,] and the formidable Super Star Destroyer Bridge.
Whether cleaning solo or with friends in co-op, the Star Wars Pack builds on PowerWash Simulator 2’s improved tools, enhanced visuals, and expanded multiplayer options, making every blast feel more rewarding than ever. Each job is packed with Star Wars easter eggs for fans to uncover as they blast away the dirt.

The Star Wars Pack will be available for PowerWash Simulator 2 in Summer 2026 on PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox X|S[,] and Nintendo Switch 2 for £7.99 GBP/$9.99 USD/€9.99 EUR.”
Kirsty Rigden, CEO of FuturLab, commented on the announcement, stating: “For generations, Star Wars has captivated audiences with its exciting and vibrant galaxy of memorable moments and characters. So, it’s been a privilege for the FuturLab team to be able to take PowerWash Simulator 2 into a galaxy far, far away and shine the spotlight on the power washing adventures of P0-W2.”

I am hyped for this DLC pack. I’m hoping that it’ll come sooner in the summer rather than later. Regardless, maybe we could get a Star Trek (or even wilder, The Orville) pack next? Give me that Sci-Fi trifecta for even more excitement. A Lego Gotham collab for Legacy of the Dark Knight or some other DC franchise (The Daily Planet?) option would be cool too. Regardless, PowerWash Simulator 2 fans have a lot to look forward to.
