Red Rising (Book) Review

Red Rising is a 2014 science fiction novel by Pierce Brown. It is the first entry within the Red Rising Saga which totals seven novels, though only five have been published currently. I admit the initial elevator pitch behind this series put…

Tchia (PC) – Review

Though the French might call it Nouvelle-Calédonie, and of course, it was captain Cook that named the island New Caledonia, the name of the French Colony archipelago was one of many reasons I initially wanted to play Tchia. It is a gorgeous adventure…

ONI: Road to be the Mightiest Oni (PC) Review

Have you ever played a PC game that doesn’t have a display menu? How about when that same game is graphically demanding, has intense combat, and switches its framerate from 30 to 60 on a whim? That’s the case with ONI: Road…

Little Witch Nobeta (Switch) Review

When I first started up Little Witch Nobeta, I thought that this would be a fun and breezy little game that I can play to unwind after a long day. After getting comfortable, I played the first stage and thought that the…

Teardown (PC) – Review

I said it back in my top games of 2022 piece, Teardown is easily one of the most enjoyable games to release in the last year or so. With destruction, demolition, and pixel-based devastation, the heists of Teardown are the heart of gameplay in the…

Comic Book Corner – Marvels

This week I’m taking it back once again to the big two publishers. Marvels is written by Kurt Busiek with artwork by Alex Ross and published of course by Marvel Comics. Released in 1994, this series spans four issues in total. It…

Romancelvania (PS5) Review

What if instead of fighting monsters in Transylvania, you could fall in love with them? You may have spent Undertale making friends with your enemies, but in Romancelvania, you’re going to have to fall head over heels for a legendary, supernatural baddie. You’ll have a…
