Star Trek: Picard “Mercy” – Review

Lip service lesbians, lip-locking South Americans, and Temo/Wish or whatever Fox William Mulder. This week, I don’t have to say much on the technical and production side: Joe Menendez returns to direct with Kristen Beyer writing her final episode alongside Cindy Appel.…

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs (PS2) – Review

For the life of me, I couldn’t remember the first mission of Zipper Interactive’s 2002 title SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs. I always remember the Alaska mission, as when I was a stupid little child (apparently we were all one at some point)…

Total War: Pharaoh Dynasties (PC) Review

Of all the games that I thought that I would review again, Total War: Pharaoh was not one of them. When I reviewed it, I gave the game a 7.5/10, which was almost on par with other critics’ scores and a bit…

Dungeons of Hinterberg (PC) – Review

Set deep in the Austrian Alps, Microbird Games’ Dungeons of Hinterberg is one of those weird titles that seemed to explode out of nowhere and jump to the top of my wishlist. You play as Luisa Dorfer, a young Austrian woman with…

Lifeless Moon (PS5) Review

Oh good, I get to tell another man’s traumatic story as a result of everything we’ll see. Directed by Joe Menendez, Menendez isn’t known for much if I’m honest. An episode or two of a thing here, an episode or two of…

The Crush House (PC) – Review

Though you can track the origins of reality TV back to the 1940s with radio and short films for TV, the 70s and 80s spawned something closer to what we know now. However, it wasn’t until John de Mol Jr created the…

Vampire Therapist (PC) Review

Editor’s Note: Vampire Therapist contains mature themes related to mental health and is not suited for all audiences. I am very picky when it comes to visual novels or narrative-focused games. However, now and then a game will come across my inbox…

The Star Named EOS (Nintendo Switch) Review

A video game’s ability to use a real-world medium for creativity and artistry as a key gameplay mechanic can be tricky to pull off. That said, photography has proved to be one such medium that translates well to a video game. In The…
