Trails Through Daybreak (PC) Review

I have followed the Legend of Heroes series (commonly known as the Trails series) for a long time. It is one of the more unique RPG franchises in that every separate subseries carries on the world’s history, just in a different country…

Lushfoil Photography Sim (PC) – Review

I’ve always hated the derision that the walking simulator genre gets, even if I understand why some rightfully do get slated for their lack of gameplay or ideas. One thing I’ve never hated in any game, ever (since the dawn of time…

Eureka “Once in a Lifetime” – Review

I mean, it isn’t: Jack is waking up to strange new worlds all the time. This episode is directed by Michael Lange, who is best known for far too many episodes of something called Greek. I don’t want to be disparaging, but…

Knock on the Coffin Lid (PC) Review

Deck-Building Rogue-likes are one of the ways I wind down when I’m not working. Some of them follow the typical Slay the Spire formula, while others do a few things differently. Knock on the Coffin Lid is one of the more interesting…

Lunar Remastered Collection (PC) Review

My recent review slate has been an exercise in returning to the classics. First, I covered the Suikoden I and II remasters, and now I’m on to another classic series. Until the Sony State of Play announced the Lunar Remastered Collection back…

Death of a Unicorn (Movie) Review

A24 has been a stamp of quality small-budget films for quite a long time. Everything from Ex Machina to Marcel The Shell With Shoes On, they are constantly releasing fascinating stories. In fact, I often find that the more ridiculous a title…
