Batora: Lost Haven (PC) Review

It’s a common saying here in the US that “The road to Hell is paved with good intentions.” It is rare though, to see a game tackle that concept head-on, trying to do good for people only to actively cause problems. Strangely…

The Eternal Cylinder (PS5) Review

When Spore launched in 2008, there wasn’t much in gaming quite like it. This life-simulation title saw you build a species from an amoeba-like state all the way to space travel. Experiencing these different stages of evolution saw differing levels of satisfaction from players,…

Oneshot: World Machine Edition (Switch) Review

The Indie scene has just recently caught onto a trend popularized by games like Doki Doki Literature Club and Inscryption. Games that break the 4th wall, requiring you to delve into other parts of the experience to solve problems inside the game…

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (PS5) Campaign Review

This is the third year in a row I’ve been lucky enough to review a Call of Duty title; I found Black Ops: Cold War thrilling and Vanguard serviceable. I’ve been playing ever since the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare became a smash hit in 2007. Now that…

Fallen Legion: Revenants (XBO) Review

Fallen Legion: Revenants is the sequel to the two-part collection Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory published by NIS America. I enjoyed the original game’s unique, fast-paced combat system and was excited to see how the gameplay would expand in the sequel. Unfortunately,…

Airoheart (Switch) Review

I often find myself looking for Indie games inspired by classics. This isn’t always to relive those nostalgic days, sometimes I want to see how a new developer (with time and distance) can iterate on a classic idea. Airoheart has the inspirational…

Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher (Switch) Review

I’m not the world’s biggest Ultraman fan, but I love kaiju media. The old Godzilla films hold a special place in my heart after plenty of holidays spent growing up and watching them with my uncle and cousins. The Ultraman tokusatsu is widely beloved…
