Revisiting Freddi Fish and the Case of the Stolen Jewel
I’m not saying I’m the number one fan of the library on the Phenixx Gaming team, but I’ve gotta be in the running. Between reading over 100 books a year and grabbing games to try that I’m not interested in owning, I’m…
Clockwork Ambrosia (PC) Review
I love Metroidvania games a lot. I find myself wishlisting a lot of them when I see them pop up either in my inbox or on my Steam recommendations list. As such, Clockwork Ambrosia was on my radar before its release date.…

I love noir mysteries and puzzle games. The Agatha Christie games from Microids are solid examples of this, as are the Duck Detective games. Now, a new game has joined the roster of my regular mystery rotation. Feline Forensics and the Meowseum…
Hypnos (PC) Preview
The liminal space walking simulator genre has expanded a lot in the past few years. I’m usually turned off from them because they lean more into horror than actual just peaceful roaming, however. Hypnos does something very different, offering a unique sort…
Far Far West (PC) Preview
When most players hear the words “extraction shooter” these days, they usually get the icks. The market has been flooded with multiple extraction shooters over the last few years, especially since the release of Helldivers 2. However, when news of Far Far…
