I’ll admit, I haven’t been following Farm to Table all that closely lately. My time has been occupied with a review I’m working on, as well as time playing Dressmaker. However, I peeked at a recent press release for the cozy life-sim yesterday, and some interesting stuff just came out.

IndieGiant Games just released a major update for Farm to Table that includes a lot of content. The co-op functionality isn’t here yet, but there’s a lot more that players can enjoy in this recent update. Here is what the press release says about Farm to Table’s recent update.

“IndieGiant Games’ major Early Access update for Farm to Table is out now, bringing more space, new automation, and controller support to its cozy farming and restaurant management sim. Players build a hilltop restaurant, grow their own ingredients, raise animals, hire staff, and turn a small backyard business into a thriving operation. The game is also currently 28% off during the Steam Autumn Sale.

The update gives players four new plots of land to expand into, a new Rancher who can take over animal care, Xbox and DualSense controller support, new staff automation, much larger storage options, and a significantly improved Steam Deck experience.

For returning players, all four new plots can be purchased without starting a new save, while new automation tools give staff more responsibility across the farm and restaurant.

The update also brings a redesigned painting experience with new roller animations and effects, more flexible staff assignments, improvements to staff AI, expanded graphics and display options, adjustable HUD settings, and extensive performance work for busy restaurants and lower graphics settings.

Numerous quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes are also included, addressing staff getting stuck on unreachable tasks, Chefs stopping order checks, building and placement issues, controller navigation, storage behavior, graphics settings, and more.

With the major update now live, co-op multiplayer remains one of the solo developer’s biggest priorities, with testing targeted to begin before the end of 2026. Future updates will also expand the game with more recipes, new cooking stations, furniture, and decorations, giving players more ways to develop their kitchens and make their farm and restaurant their own.”

In addition to this update, Farm to Table is currently 28% off during the Steam Autumn Sale. As mentioned in the press release, Co-op is on its way, targeted to be in the works before the end of 2026. Even though it isn’t here yet, players just got a lot of stuff to experiment with solo before they play with their friends later on.
