Under Potion Influence Gets New Trailer

Stop right there, criminal scum! You stand accused of operating a horse and disturbing the peace while Under Potion Influence, developed and published by Marco Ronzulli. Fortunately for you, the powers that be have decided to spare you the death sentence your crimes usually carry. Instead, you’re being sent to a dungeon under the control of “The Guild,” who have tasked you with identifying and correctly labeling a slew of potions they can’t identify. Under Potion Management is a horror game that revolves around you testing potions that may have unspeakable effects on you. There’s a new trailer to give you an idea of what’s at stake.

Although you’ll be expected to ostensibly focus on correctly labeling those mystery potions to keep your captors mollified, you’re secretly working to discover and steal the proper assortment of potions you’ll need to escape the dungeon you’ve been thrown into. According to a press release, Under Potion Influence will have you “experiment with materials, or your own body, and survive long enough to escape the guild’s demands. You’ll need to steal useful potions to explore the dungeon and find a way out.” There’s no telling what will happen should you fail, but I can’t imagine your captors will be pleased.

The closest thing we currently have to a release window for Under Potion Influence is “Q4 2026” as of the time of writing. Marco Ronzulli, the solo developer and publisher behind Under Potion Influence, has stated that Under Potion Influence will “be available for Steam” and its concrete release date will be publicized “in the coming months.” You can wishlist Under Potion Influence on Steam now if you want to be updated as its development progresses. Under Potion Influence currently has a public playtest available if you want to try it, but there’s no specific word as to how long that will continue.
