Stick it to the Stickman Leaves Early Access Next Month

Devolver Digital has a strong pedigree. It is rare that I find a game published by Devolver that I don’t at least find interesting. Such is the case with Stick it to the Stickman, a Rogue-like Brawler from developer Free Lives, now in Early Access. The 1.0 release of Stick it to the Stickman is on its way, and Devolver has given us a firm date.

On September 23^rd, Stick it to the Stickman will be released out of Early Access on PC. There is no console port announced yet, but the game’s 1.0 release comes with a sale. Here is what the press release says about the announcement:

“A year ago, Free Lives (Genital Jousting, Broforce) and Devolver Digital’s physics-based stickman brawler, Stick it to the Stickman, kicked, punched and fireballed its way into Early Access. But it’s time for this scrappy startup to make use of all that investor capital and ascend to new commercial heights, because on Sept 23^rd, the game leaves Early Access and hits 1.0, inviting shareholders old and new to enjoy its satirical corporate bloodsport:

Stick it to the Stickman is a physics-based brawler where you fight heaps of red stickmen to become the boss. Choose from hundreds of unique moves to construct the perfect combat machine and fight your way to the top of the corporate ladder.

Punch, kick, slice, dice, burn, blast, staple-gun, fireball, jackhammer, and chainsaw your way up to the top, solo or with a ‘friend,’ in a truly hostile work environment. And remember: Every red stickman you defeat is one dead red stickman closer to a promotion.

The 1.0 update of the game will feature two new Game Modes: Neurolink and [REDACTED], which will complete the story of our Founder, the Shareholders, and the fate of the world as we know it. Stick it to the Stickman’s long-term career prospects have never looked more promising.

In the meantime, Foreign Manufacturing has received two new archetypes – the Ninja and the Negotiator – as well as new passives, new bosses and new level segments for your expropriation.
