I am a big fan of Puzzle Bobble (also known in some places as Bust a Move). The bubble-popping puzzle game has always been a fun way to pass the time for me, and I’m excited that we’ll be getting a PC port this year. That’s right, Taito Corporation has revealed the launch of Puzzle Bobble Everybubble on Steam, the latest entry in the franchise.

Working together with Arc System Works, Taito Corporation has revealed that Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! will be coming to PC on April 23rd, 2026. Bub’s latest adventure is coming pretty soon, adding things like 2 vs 2 Tag Team matches in local co-op. Here is what the press release says about the upcoming release:

Arc System Works Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the release of the Steam port of Puzzle Bobble Everybubble!, the latest entry in the Puzzle Bobble series developed by Taito Corporation, on Thursday 23 April 2026. Bub is back in this action-puzzle game packed with new features, whilst retaining all the fun that players know and love!

Set on ‘Rainbow Island’, transformed into a bubble-filled world by a wizard’s curse, this is an action-puzzle game in which the beloved bubble dragons travel across the island and embark on adventures with their friends, notably the endless-stage ‘Scal Tower’ and the ‘Puzzle Bobble vs. Invaders’ collaboration.

The game features a host of new elements unique to this title while retaining the simple and deep core mechanic of connecting three or more bubbles of the same colour to clear them.

The key feature of this title is the introduction of co-op play for up to four players in Story Mode, a first for the series. Players can enjoy the game at their own pace on their own, or experience the added fun of teaming up with family and friends to tackle the stages together.

In addition to online matches where you can compete against players from all over the world to reach the top, local matches with up to four players are also available. You can enjoy a variety of rules, including 2 vs 2 tag matches.

I’m not exactly a Multiplayer guy, but adding co-op is a fun idea. Regardless, more adventures with Bub are always fun, and I can’t wait to play Puzzle Bobble Everybubble! myself. April 23rd is just this Thursday, so go wishlist it now if you’re interested!
