The Undertaker Nightfarer Teased for Elden Ring Nightreign

Elden Ring Nightreign continues to pull in hundreds of thousands of players every week. An upcoming boost of content via The Forsaken Hollows DLC looks to add to the experience with several gameplay additions as well as two new nightfarers to play as. The latest reveal from Bandai Namco and From Software shows off the second of two nightfarers, and fans of high-intensity combat and speedy assaults are going to love this one. Here’s what we know about The Undertaker, the latest nightfarer coming to Elden Ring Nightreign.

Per an exclusive breakdown at GameSpot, the latest reveal for The Undertaker as a playable nightfarer gives me confidence she’ll be a popular option. Using the skill “Trance,” combo attacks and toughness get a significant boost, as well as the dodge mechanic, which turns into a dash step. You’ll also unlock mirror dashing, which consumes no stamina. Fill up the Ultimate bar, and you’ll enjoy even more power from these stats and abilities. As for her passive, “Confluence” lets you activate your Ultimate ability if a nearby ally uses theirs.

As for strategy, the reveal video makes it clear that speed is a tremendous asset for this nightfarer. It does feel like that speed needs to be used cautiously, so as not to open yourself up to unnecessary damage just because you’re zipping around. Unlike the Scholar, the other DLC nightfarer on the way, you’re looking to surprise and overwhelm opponents one by one rather than chain together attacks. I think both options heading to the game via this paid DLC package will undoubtedly be worth the $15, alongside the new Shifting Earth condition and two new Day Three bosses.
