Barkour gets a new Steam Demo

Animal lovers are having a field day with the Steam Animal Fest. Like the Steam Next Fest, the Steam Animal Fest (running from Nov. 10^th-17^th) is celebrating all kinds of games about animals. One in particular caught my eye, mostly for its interesting premise.

Barkour is created by Varsav Game Studio, developers of Bee Simulator. It is a Stealth-Action game in which you play a dog on a Top-Secret mission involving a lot of parkour and action. Here is what the press release says about the game and demo:

“Who let the dog out… on a top-secret mission? VARSAV Game Studios, creators of Bee Simulator, return to the world of animal heroes with Barkour, a fast-paced blend of action, stealth, and dog parkour.

It’s participating in Steam’s Animal Fest event, which takes place from 10th to 17th November[,] and to celebrate the occasion, they updated the demo and made a new trailer to showcase just what you can expect in 2026!

Barkour puts you in the paws of Agent T.H.U.N.D.E.R., a four-legged special agent equipped with high-tech gadgets, acrobatic agility, and undeniable canine charm. From stealthy infiltration to full-on combat or jaw-dropping parkour runs, every mission gives players the freedom to choose their own approach.”

While the demo was previously available, the dev team has updated it to celebrate the Steam Animal Fest, offering new gadgets, missions, and more. Personally, as a dog lover, I am very interested in Barkour. It feels like a more action-oriented, canine-focused idea of Stray, in a strange way.
