Cook, Serve, Delicious! (PC) Second Look

I’ve mentioned in at least one video over on our YouTube channel that I was born with a neurological condition known as cerebral palsy. It’s a disability which, among several other things negatively affects my hand-eye coordination. In light of this, I’ve…

Dark Deity (PC) Review

One of the standout indie announcements of E3 2021 for me was Dark Deity. Revealed during the Freedom Games showcase and released shortly after, Dark Deity is a game that makes its inspiration very clear. While it may seem like a clone…

Doctor Who “Closing Time” – Review

I think you can call me as biased as you like. I don’t like Garth Roberts, I really don’t like James Corden, I have a TARDIS on my desk, and generally, when talking about Doctor Who, I can be a bit left…

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it here again. I’m not a fan of the horror or horror-esque episodes of Doctor Who, even though I do enjoy one show by Toby Whithouse. I think the darker and supernatural elements worked better into…

Ender Lillies: Quietus of the Knights (PC) Review

Apparently, this is the month where I decided to jump out of my comfort zone. First I did a preview of The Last Spell (Strategy/defense Roguelike), and now I’m covering a Souls-like Metroidvania. Basically, this month is where I play genres I…

Mind Scanners (PC) Review

If you know anything about me based on my past written work here on Phenixx Gaming, you probably know that a quick way to get my attention is to tell me about a game that’s at least somewhat similar to Papers, Please.…
