Road 96 (Xbox One) Review

I’m a huge fan of narrative-focused games, so when Road 96 was announced, I knew it would be my kind of game. Additionally, with its somewhat recent addition to Xbox Game Pass, I went ahead and played it. I finished the game…

Apico (Switch) Review

Bee conservation has been a big topic in recent years. Bees, honey, and pollen are a vital part of all sorts of ecosystems, not to mention the byproducts that result from them such as beeswax. The developers at TNgineers and publisher Whitethorn…

Neon Blight (PC) Review

Roguelites are as popular as ever, and it feels like this is the hundredth one I’ve reviewed over the years. What makes the genre one of my favorites, though, is that each one is unique and has something going for it that…

Doctor Who “Oxygen” – Review

Ahh, the slump of Series 10, where all the dark and moody episodes come to bore the tears out of you. “Oxygen” and “Extremis” are the two episodes that with a good 30 minutes on the clock, few people would remember when…

Mothmen 1966 (PC) Review

Text adventures make up some of the earliest commercialized video games. With nothing more than the power of words, choice, and pixelated artistry, the genre was a smash hit in the 1980s, long before the video game market was full of FPS…
