I have been following The Blood of Dawnwalker pretty closely lately. It strikes me as the next great Vampire IP, something along the lines of The Legacy of Kain or Vampyr. Now, the developers have announced that we are getting a lot more information very soon.

Rebel Wolves and Bandai Namco have announced that there will be a “Road to Launch” livestreamed event on April 28th. During the stream, the developers plan to share long-awaited details about the game, including its release date. Other plans for the stream, according to the press release, are to present “new gameplay focused on the game’s open world, along with a brand new story trailer, system requirements, and more.”

The press release also noted that “As previously confirmed, The Blood of Dawnwalker is coming this year to PC, PlayStation 5[,] and Xbox Series X|S. The stream will begin on April 28 at 9:00 a.m. PDT and will be available to watch on YouTube and Twitch. The Road to Launch Event will be hosted in English (with multiple subtitle options available on the YouTube stream) and will be co-streaming-friendly. Rebel Wolves invites everyone to join and share the experience as they reveal their most important details to date.”

Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, Game Director of The Blood of Dawnwalker commented on the livestream and the announcement, stating: “We are getting closer and closer to the most important milestone in our four-year development journey – the release of The Blood of Dawnwalker, the first chapter of our original dark fantasy saga. On behalf of the entire [sic] Rebel Wolves studio, I would like to invite all players to the upcoming stream, during which you will not only get the start date of your adventure in Vale Sangora, but also see the gameplay changes we have implemented over the past months, with a particular focus on activities tied to the game’s open world.

I’m really eager to dig into The Blood of Dawnwalker, and I’m hoping the release date isn’t too far away. Regardless, this upcoming stream will be a perfect way to learn more about the game leading up to launch.
