New UnderMine 2 Update Announced

I adore UnderMine, and I have been carefully following UnderMine 2’s Early Access development, eagerly awaiting the full release. It seems that the UnderMine is expanding more and more, with a full release expected (hopefully) later this year. Now, the development team at Thorium Entertainment has announced that May is bringing more than flowers; it is bringing a new update as well!

On May 1^st, the 0.7 “Duskfall” update will be coming to UnderMine 2. This update will add new areas (including a starter location), a new difficulty, a new boss, and more. Here is what the press release says about UnderMine 2:

“In this sequel to the acclaimed Rogue-like UnderMine, UnderMine 2 sends you right back into the titular dungeon. Collect riches, upgrade your abilities, utilize the power of arcana, and defeat bosses to bring the Undermine back to its former glory. Unlock new characters to aid you in your quest and return to the mines ready to avenge any defeat you may face. With the 0.7 update, fight your way through the depths and overcome new challenges set forth!

Dig into the UnderMine 2 ‘Duskfall Update’ when it launches on May 1st and take part in the Early Access journey on the road to full launch.”

Whether you play as the new Black Rabbit character or the brooding Inquisitor Dante, there are lots of challenges that wait in the UnderMine. This time around, there will also be full Mod and Workshop support, so that the community can expand the UnderMine to their own desires as well.

Did I mention Multiplayer? No? Well, UnderMine 2 will allow you to grab a friend for 2-player Co-op, with special item combos and character synergies that only exist with two players. Can you tell that I’m excited for UnderMine 2? We don’t have a full release date yet, but I am ready for it whenever it comes.
