The calendar says time continues to “March” on, and so, too, must my work. The third Humble Choice bundle of 2026 is now available for purchase. It just so happens that you’ve got more time than usual to buy this one. It’ll be available until 10 AM Pacific Time on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026. I’m proceeding with the understanding that we all know the drill by now: Steam keys for eight games are on offer in this bundle, plus a one-month subscription to IGN Plus if you want to give that a try. Now then, let us “March” forth and begin!
Up first this time around is Tempest Rising, a real-time strategy title that presents itself as a spiritual successor to the older Command & Conquer titles. I couldn’t help but notice that Humble and Steam list conflicting information about Tempest Rising: Humble says Tempest Rising was developed by THQ Nordic, whereas Steam says its developer was Slipgate Ironworks. I’m not sure what’s up with that, but that’s neither here nor there. It’s no secret that I love RTS games like Command & Conquer (especially one in particular), so I’m interested to try out Tempest Rising and see how it does at continuing that legacy.
Second on the list is Chants of Sennaar, developed by Rundisc and published by Focus Entertainment. Chants of Sennaar purports to be a “puzzle adventure game” in which you “play as the Traveler on a quest to reunite the Peoples of the Tower.” You’ll have to “observe, listen, and decipher ancient languages in a fascinating universe inspired by the Myth of Babel.” I normally suck at puzzle games, but a puzzle game centered around figuring out ancient languages might be much more my speed. Chants of Sennaar also has “Overwhelmingly Positive” Steam reviews, which I’m sure is a good sign.
Game number three is Sworn, as in “I recently bought this game on its own because I could have ‘Sworn’ it wouldn’t be available in this bundle.” Developed by Windwalk Games and published by Team17, Sworn is a “co-op action Rogue-like” intended for one to four players. In Sworn, you’ll be expected to “[e]xplore and reclaim a fallen Camelot from the reign of a corrupted Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.” I’m a sucker for this kind of twist on Arthurian mythology, as you might know, so I’m looking forward to giving Sworn a proper try.
Game number four, whose title should rightly have put it in the third spot in this bundle, is Etrian Odyssey III HD. Developed by Atlus and published by Sega, Etrian Odyssey III HD is a remaster of the third entry in the Etrian Odyssey RPG franchise. If you’ve been keeping up with the contents of Humble Choice bundles for the past year or so, you’ll know the HD versions of Etrian Odyssey and Etrian Odyssey II were available in past bundles. In light of that, it seems Humble has decided to allow interested players to acquire the remaining game in the trilogy.
Next up is Bread & Fred, developed by SandCastles Studio and published by Infogrames. Bread & Fred is a co-op puzzle game in which you and a friend each control one of the two titular penguins. You’ll have to work together to ensure the pair of penguins manages to reach the top of a tall mountain, ideally without falling all the way back down during the climb. If you don’t have a co-op partner, Bread & Fred also features a single-player mode where you’ll attempt the climb alone by anchoring yourself to a faithful rock named Jeff (of course) rather than another penguin.
I tried to think of an Elton John reference I could shoehorn into the entry for game number six, but that required more effort than it was worth. It’s Zero Hour, developed and published by AttritoM7 Productions. Zero Hour claims to be a “tactical FPS with online team-based game play that takes place in a variety of fictional locations interpreted in Bangladesh with [r]eal-life scale & resource management.” In the interest of transparency, I should mention that although Zero Hour’s overall Steam reviews are “Mostly Positive,” its recent reviews are listed as “Mixed;” do with that information what you will.
This bundle’s penultimate game is Smalland: Survive the Wilds, developed by Merge Games and published by the rather boldly named Maximum Entertainment. Smalland: Survive the Wilds is a multiplayer survival-crafting game that emphasizes that “preparation is key when you’re this small & at the bottom of the food chain.” You’ll need to “craft weapons & armour, tame & ride creatures, build encampments[,] and explore a strange new land.” You play as an unusually tiny adult human and have to, well, “survive the wilds” long enough to work your way up the food chain, all while avoiding being eaten by everything bigger than you.
This bundle’s final game is Hard West II, from developer Ice Code Games and published by Good Shepherd Entertainment. Hard West II is a turn-based tactics game in which you’ll “take control of a supernatural posse and catch the mysterious Ghost Train. Outsmart, outcheat and outgun your enemies” within a “Wild West world where nothing is as it seems.” Having said all that, I guess now I can “mosey on over” to the end of this list after my token acknowledgment of the one-month IGN Plus subscription that’s also available. I’ll return to do this all again when April’s bundle goes live!
