Monday, if Alexx thinks Sonic being 35 is a milestone, I’ve got some checkers news for him, and Yakuza 3 Remastered is set to be delisted ahead of Kiwami 3. Tuesday, Astral Ascent gets a crossover update/DLC with Ravenswatch. Wednesday, Love Eternal gets a release date, and Life is Strange trucks on with the bottom of the barrel. Thursday, market trading Rogue-like Insider Trading got a release date, and Snoopy and Great Mystery Club got a Switch 2 release date. Imagine that, a Snoopy and Scooby Doo crossover. Oh, also, Tim hasn’t walked back his comments.
Moving on to the Epic Games Store, it is a simple week for once, Rustler – Grand Theft Horse. Typically, when I say Grand Theft Horse, I’m usually talking about Red Dead Redemption (1 or 2), but this time it is a top-down medieval action game instead, reminiscent of the original couple of Grand Theft Autos by DMA Design. Generally liked for what it is, Jutsu Games’ 2021 release is intriguing, but any game promoting itself on “full of pop-culture references” eventually ages like milk on the surface of the sun.

The second offering this week is one for the mobile app and is a repeat for us on the Epic Games Store: The Forest Quartet. A puzzle adventure about a lead singer playing her last concert with her band members, it is one of those arty things where you enjoy the story more than the gameplay; you just want to know when and where you can pick it up, right? You can pick up The Forest Quartet on the Epic Games Store for mobile globally on Android and iOS in the EU right now.
All this week, you can pick up both Rustler – Grand Theft Horse and The Forest Quartet on the Epic Games Store until the 29th of January. Moving on to next week, maybe David should be covering next week as we’ve got Definitely Not Fried Chicken. Yes, I believe he wants to kill me for that, but you know, what else is new? Basically, a KFC with a Giancarlo Esposito flavoring.
