New Warframe Update Adds Tons Of New Content

Warframe is one of the most popular free-to-play action games, and this month, hardcore fans will have a wealth of new content to explore. The game’s latest story chapter, The Old Peace will be launching on December 10th.

In addition, this expansion will feature two new game modes. The Perita Rebellion is a survival mode set on the battlefield of a distant moon. Players will survive for twelve minutes, collecting temporary upgrades by completing challenges and building their character. The mode ends with a climactic battle against one of three challenging bosses from the new enemy faction, the Anarchs. In this mode, players will also gain access to Tauron Strikes’ powerful cinematic attacks that can tip the scales in your favor. Each of the five Focus Schools or classes will receive its own Tauron Strike. Additionally, as part of the promotion, there will be a limited-time event called the Blood of Perita, which will offer exclusive gear until December 16th. The next mode is The Descendia, a tower style game where players travel through floors collecting loot and defeating enemies. This mode consists of twenty-one floors with a checkpoint every seven floors.

Furthermore, The Old Peace will also add Uriel, the Devil, as a new character. This is the game’s 63rd Waframe, and he brings an arsenal of demonic summons and hellfire to fight with. This character is unlockable by collecting blueprints from The Descendia tower or can be purchased separately in the shop.

Lastly, players can also expect this expansion to feature new weapons and cosmetics. The highlight here is the bayonet weapon class, which gives every arsenal some great versatility. The first bayonet weapon is called the Vinquibus, and more are sure to follow. In terms of cosmetics, both the Gyre and Voruna Warframes will receive special skins that come with themed weapons as well. Warframe is available now for PC.
