Two Point Museum DLC Gets Release Date

It’s hard to believe that with a jam-packed year of releases, one of them was Two Point Museum. I rather like Two Point Studios’ latest simulator, and I’ve been excited to see what comes next. Well, it seems that Two Point Studios is embracing their wild side with a new expansion that is coming much sooner than anyone would have expected.

Sega and Two Point Studios announced that the “Zooseum” DLC will be coming on December 2^nd to PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. A Nintendo Switch release is planned, but it won’t be coming until 2026. Here is what the press release says about the new expansion and the announcement:

“Two Point Studios and SEGA Europe are unleashing the wild side of Two Point County with Two Point Museum: Zooseum, the biggest DLC yet for the hit museum-building sim Two Point Museum. The new expansion launches on December 2^nd for Steam, Epic Games, Xbox[,] and PlayStation, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release planned for 2026.

For those eager to dip their toes into the animal kingdom early, the Free Taster Content is available now for Steam, Epic Games, Xbox[,] and PlayStation offering a sneak peak of the Zooseum before the full DLC arrives next month.

The Free Taster Content allows players a preview of a select range of areas from the new expansion, including the brand-new museum location, Silverbottom Park, the first star of the Zooseum campaign, access to a new Wildlife Expert, Wildlife-themed decorations and a selection of Zooseum-themed plushies, books, onesies, and even posters for the Gift Shop!

In Two Point Museum: Zooseum, players will rescue, raise, and rehabilitate a menagerie of marvellous misfits from a Spyglass Giraffe to a Cabin Snail — nursing them back to health before releasing them into the wild. Design immersive natural habitats, create fascinating creature-inspired exhibits, and bring the untamed beauty (and occasional smell) of nature into the heart of Two Point County. Whether you’re caring for cuddly critters or something with considerably sharper teeth, you’ll need compassion, creativity, and a good stockpile of cleaning supplies.”

Breaking down what is available in the upcoming expansion, we’ve got a pretty decent spread here. In addition to the new museum location of Silverbottom Park, we’ve got new Wildlife Experts, 40+ wildlife exhibits, a new expedition map, and a new five-star campaign. In addition, there are new gift shop items, themed items and decorations, interactive displays, and animal-focused rooms.

I’m glad to see Two Point Studios adding fresh content to Two Point Museum. I love seeing games like this get extra content to extend their longevity, and hopefully, this will keep people coming back for more. What are you most excited about from the expansion? Let us know in the comments.
