Admittedly, due to not having a lot of time for Multiplayer fun, I don’t play a lot of survival or settlement-building games. They’re the sort of thing meant for groups, and I’m just not in a state of life right now for that to be feasible or enjoyable. However, I do know a good one when I see one. Medieval Dynasty fans just got a huge burst of content to make an already great game even better.

Not only has Medieval Dynasty just gotten a large free update, but two new DLCs have been made available. This update and DLC combo has brought much-requested features to the game, along with some surprises. Here is what the press release says about what was released:

“Development studio Render Cube and publisher Toplitz Productions jointly announce the release of not only a new meaningful update, but two extensive and highly atmospheric [paid] DLCs for their open world life sim Medieval Dynasty.

The update introduces the long-requested feature of rearranging the settlement[,] from planted trees to buildings to facilitate your vision for a perfect medieval village, among other things. The customization options include a ‘Move Mode’ and the opportunity to plant trees in order to give you maximum freedom in arranging your village and creating the space you’ve always dreamed of.

It [is also] required as a foundation for ‘Echoes of Nature’, the first of two simultaneously released DLCs. Building on the new customisation options, this DLC adds a new extensive set of decorations from stone elements to lush trees and flowering shrubs. But it doesn’t stop there: Your new natural decorations respond to the changing seasons, as they bloom in spring, change colors in autumn[,] or echo the rhythm of the natural world when they stand frost-covered in winter.

Your imagination is the only limit to the possibilities you have at your disposal in creating truly remarkable medieval villages. Create new structures like hedge mazes with a Balancing Rock as a centerpiece, stone-framed ponds or calm and soothing forests.

While ‘Echoes of Nature’ delivers yet another extension of atmospheric in-game content, the second DLC goes beyond the screen and brings the world of Medieval Dynasty right into your home.

The Medieval Dynasty Original Soundtrack Vol. 2 delivers 39 tracks from the game spread across three thematically curated albums spanning almost 2.5 hours in total. Turn your living room into a medieval tavern with six joyful tracks performed by The Three Bards. Soothe your spirit after a long day with atmospheric tracks like the main theme, music from the character creator or important NPC motifs. Rekindle the memories of your adventures in the world of Medieval Dynasty when you take the gameplay music with you wherever you go.

The Plant A Tree update, as well as both payable DLCs, are available now. There is a lot of great content to be had here, and I’m impressed that Render Cube decided to unravel it all at once. If you haven’t played Medieval Dynasty yet, the Steam Summer sale also offers a 40% discount, bringing the price to $20.99. The Echoes of Nature DLC is discounted by 20% as well, so some savings are to be made here.
