Nintendo eShop Summer Sale 2025 First-Party Deals

With a brand-new console on shelves that can play games from the previous generation, Nintendo is looking to help players expand their Switch library in the Nintendo eShop Summer Sale 2025. There are quite a few games on discount, including several first-party titles you can grab for a summer of avoiding this massive heat wave and spending time cooling off with some of the best games of the past decade. Here’s a breakdown of all of the first-party deals in this year’s Nintendo eShop Summer Sale.

In terms of first-party Nintendo games, there are a handful of titles for Nintendo Switch in the eShop Summer Sale 2025 to consider. Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and Super Mario Odyssey, arguably the two best Mario games released on the console, are both discounted by 33% at $39.99. Other first-party titles, such as Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, and Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, are also discounted by 30% at $41.99.

Bundles for DLC and add-on content are also a part of the Nintendo eShop Summer Sale 2025. For example, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is bundled with the Happy Home Paradise DLC for a 30% discount at $59.48. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the expansion Torna: The Golden Country are bundled for $62.98, representing a 30% discount. For both of these titles, you can purchase the expansions separately for the same 30% discount if you already own the base game.

A few more minor first-party Nintendo titles are also available in the 2025 Summer Sale. Nintendo Switch Sports, which is Switch 2 compatible according to Nintendo’s compatibility reports, is $27.99. You can also grab Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition for $20.99. Having reviewed that one, I think it is well worth $20 if you love retro Nintendo games. Then, some Nintendo-adjacent games like Mario +Rabbids Sparks of Hope and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 are also discounted for $14.99 and $23.99, respectively.

It’s not worth rehashing the fact that Nintendo games rarely see the discounts first-party titles on Xbox and PlayStation receive, so let’s just say if you’re itching to add digital copies of these games to your library, you’re likely going to get the best discount here at the Nintendo eShop that you’ll see until Black Friday and the holiday season. Other titles, including major third-party hits like Monster Hunter Rise, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Disney Dreamlight Valley, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, are also part of the Nintendo eShop Summer Sale 2025.
