Author: David Sanders

David Sanders is, at his core, a man who's just trying to get through his game backlog before the heat death of the universe, and yet can't seem to stop adding to said game backlog. He greatly enjoys many different varieties of games, particularly several notable RPGs and turn-based strategy titles. When he's not helping to build or plan computers for friends, he can usually be found gaming on his personal machine or listening to an audiobook to unwind.

David’s Retro Rewind – Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock

There’s a particularly special place reserved in my heart for the vast majority of games present within the Guitar Hero franchise. I say “the vast majority” because I’d personally like to forget that Guitar Hero Live exists. Despite that, this is the…

David’s Steam Winter Sale 2020 Recommendations

As Andy Williams once famously put it, “it’s the most wonderful time of the year.” At least, it’s the most wonderful time that a perpetual garbage fire of a year like 2020 is capable of producing. Mercifully, it’s almost time for this…

Coffee Talk (PC) Review

Forgive me for stating the painfully obvious here folks, but this year has been quite unusual to say the absolute least. I would wager that, for at least a few thousand people around the globe, 2020 will likely go down as one…

Orwell’s Animal Farm (PC) Review

Warning: This article contains minimal spoilers for both Orwell’s Animal Farm and the plot of the book of the same name. A particularly wise man once said during a monologue about Sun Tzu’s The Art of War, “[F]rom that day forward, anytime…

David’s Retro Rewind – WrestleMania: The Arcade Game

I used to adore WWE programming from approximately 1997 to 2004. Everything except the last two years of this period is commonly referred to as the famous “Attitude Era,” for those among our audience who might be unaware. It didn’t matter very…

2020’s Steam Autumn Sale is Now Live

It seems the Steam sale-predicting wizards at SteamDB have been proven right again. You might recall that I recently reported upon their leak of the dates for this year’s Halloween Sale, Autumn Sale, and Winter Sale. They claimed that 2020’s Autumn Sale…

WoW: Shadowlands’ Pre-Expansion Event is Live Now

Dark times have fallen upon Azeroth, fellow champions. Well, times that are at least as dark as the events of World of Warcraft’s previous seven expansions, that is. The pre-launch event for the upcoming expansion pack known as Shadowlands began on November…
