I love a good puzzle game. Last year’s Is This Seat Taken? was a highlight of my puzzling. Now, it seems like two Polish developers are creating another game I need to keep my eyes on.

Must Be Feng Shui is being developed by Armed Chicken Games, a two-person studio out of Poland. While we don’t have a release date yet, the dev team provided a rundown of what we can expect when Must Be Feng Shui launches. Here is what the press release says about the game:

Must Be Feng Shui is a relaxing puzzle game where you arrange furniture to follow Feng Shui rules. Recreate your own home in sandbox mode, or decorate existing cozy apartments to restore their balance.

In Must Be Feng Shui, you bring harmony to apartments and houses by arranging furniture according to the principles of Feng Shui.

Each piece follows its own rules — a bed shouldn’t face a mirror, a desk shouldn’t block a doorway, and a wardrobe shouldn’t block the natural light from windows.

How you position and combine these elements determines the balance of the entire space.

There’s no single right answer. Rotate, move, and experiment with furniture to find layouts that satisfy every rule in your own way.

Relax, take your time, and enjoy the process of turning each room into a calm, balanced space.

I love the concept of Must Be Feng Shui. I’m not all that familiar with the principles of Feng Shui in general, but the idea of turning it into a puzzle sounds incredibly fun. As I said previously, we don’t have a release date or window yet, but I’m going to keep my eye on this one really closely.
