Monday, Dave goes diving in a jungle this year, and Pokémon Sleep adds a stopwatch because the one already on your phone isn’t enough. Tuesday, the only billionaire who is liked is releasing a week early, and Arma/Battlefield-like ’83 currently has a playtest going on. Wednesday, Disco Elysium is on Game Pass and I don’t remember my name, mostly because I’ve been farming ahead of Farming Sim 25‘s latest update, and Olympique de Marseille joins Copa City. Thursday, Lethal Company x Viscera Cleanup Detail-like Cleaner Company has a publisher, and Shinobi: Art of Vengeance DLC has Eggman.

Moving on to the Epic Games Store, it is another double bill that’s upsetting me. We’ll start with the free-to-play thing, World of Warships – Epic Anniversary Tachibana Pack. Like most things named WoW, I don’t understand its popularity because I have better things to do, like your mum (and your dad). This offering seems to be the same/similar enough to the “Tachibana Lima” offering on Steam, but alongside getting the Japanese boat with red, you get it in dark greens.

You also get “5 permanent camouflages,” so why do you need 5 of them? I don’t know. I also don’t know why this thing on Epic is “valued” at $25, but the thing on Steam, minus the pretty colors and some camouflage, is $5. If your dog’s ears perked up in the last 24 hours, you know when I found that out.

Moving on to something that’s actually worth at least a couple of bucks, Electrician Simulator is the main offering for PC this week. Have you ever wanted to self-induce a heart attack through being stupid? Yeah, me neither, but that’s what electricians do as they work with the magic that makes the TV work and the light so bright, and now you can do so, too. Just don’t try it at home, do it in a public park or something so people can call you an idiot for shocking yourself.

Moving on to the Epic Games Store’s mobile offering, it is Potion Permit, MassHive Media and PQube’s 2022 wholesome life-sim-ish thing. Being a town’s potions expert, you go out fighting bears for honey and sticks, and I assume fighting Australians for death and casual racism. In fact, around this time last year, David reviewed the PC port of Potion Permit and practically loved it. The only thing I’d be concerned about on phone and tablet, as I am almost every week, is my fat thumbs being in the way.

All this week, you can pick up the World of Warships – Epic Anniversary Tachibana Pack and Electrician Simulator on the Epic Games Store for PC, as well as pick up Potion Permit on the Epic Games Store for iOS in the EU and on Android worldwide. Onto next week, and I’m left wondering how I show disdain for two games in a row. First up will be top-down shmup Hyper Echelon, alongside the Roblox-on-Ozempic art style of city building/colony sim Havendock.
