Farming Simulator 25 Update 5 now Available

It is nice to see games getting ongoing updates and content. Some game developers abandon their games long before they’ve reached their full potential. Giants Software just revealed its newest free update for Farming Simulator 25, with some cool additions.

Update 5 for Farming Simulator 25 is now available and includes Patch 1.17. It includes 2 new machines, as well as a range of improvements. Here is what the press release says about the new update:

“Publisher and developer GIANTS Software released Free Content Update #5 for Farming Simulator 25, including Patch 1.17. Alongside a set of improvements across gameplay and performance, the update expands the vehicle lineup with two new machines.

The update introduces a new Kramer telehandler and the Berthoud WIN’AIR, a compact trailed sprayer designed for use in vineyards and orchards, focusing on productivity and precise application in viticulture.

Among numerous improvements, Patch 1.17 adds additional content and options for modders, including new tires, new configuration attributes, and multiple fixes. The free Precision Farming Pack for deeper agricultural mechanics also receives improvements, including adjustments to pH display and reduction behavior, tramline stability, and optimizations for various UI actions.

Farming Simulator 25 is available for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A Year 2 Season Pass is obtainable and includes two packs and a major expansion – fans save up to 30% compared to getting the content separately. GIANTS Software will also continue to release free content updates and user-generated content on the official ModHub.”

With Giants Software providing regular updates for Farming Simulator 25, along with user content being available, players have plenty to work with. I’m interested in trying the new machines, especially going back and working on a vineyard again. I’m curious to see what Giants Software comes up with next as they work on upcoming updates.
