It is that time again, everyone! Phenixx Gaming’s editorial team (and writers) are going on a break for three weeks. This year has been a crazy ride, full of great games, interesting news, a few delays, and lots of chaos in the world. So, we’re going to take a bit of a break. As usual, you guys won’t notice much, other than a lack of news articles and a focus on Editorial and Review content specifically.

We’ll be on our break starting Today, December 22^nd, 2025, until Sunday, January 11^th, 2026. The 12^th will be our first day back in normal publishing operation, but we have a lot of great things in store for 2026. Of course there’s the usual content, coverage on the big releases and events. However, we’re also planning a few things in the background too, some surprises and a few changes to how we monetize.

I know that’s probably a worrying thought, but I assure you that, as usual, we’re upholding our promise to not create onsite advertisements. With that said, we have a few affiliates we’re planning to work with, and we may be looking into things like Patreon for a bit of extra content if the mood strikes.

Regardless of what we do, we’re going to maintain our goal of being transparent (where possible) with you on what we’re doing and why. We are hoping to continue the growth we’ve had this year and expand our success so that we can do more and bring more interesting content to you.

Aside from that, we’re going to keep doing what we’re doing now. We’re going to bring you fun content that will give you a reprieve from the chaos of daily life. On top of that, we’ll be bringing you honest and transparent coverage so that you can make informed decisions about whether the latest releases are worth your time.
