With a week drier than your nan’s gums, I don’t think it surprises that we’re a bit light on news this week. Monday, Witchfire has had a melee update as well as a sale milestone. Tuesday, the release date for the Cult of the Lamb expansion “Woolhaven” has been announced, and Bearly Brave is out now. Wednesday, The Rogue Prince of Persia is now on Switch. Thursday, Reanimal, the next game from the people who made Little Nightmares 1 and 2, has a release date.

Moving on to what is effectively pissing into the wind, featuring the Epic Games Store, the game on offer as I write is Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel. Released into early access on Steam back in January, the full release of this action Rogue-like/Survivor-like only happened back in September, because everyone needs to rush these things out before the bubble bursts. No, I’m not excited by this one or many of the Survivor-likes for one reason or another.
Not that it matters much, as about two hours from this article going out, something else is on offer. Do I know what? Hell no. In previous years, the 25th has been something like Death Stranding, and others, it has been some free-to-play in-app purchase tripe that is “Valued at $100.” You can also pick up PUNKCAKE Delicieux’s Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate on the Epic Games Store for mobile too, until the 25th of December. Listen, if you see something on Epic that’s free, pick it up for the next two weeks. I’m off until further notice. Deuces!
