Well, folks, the final month of 2025 is here, and so is the year’s last Humble Choice bundle. If you’re interested in any of this bundle’s contents, you have until Tuesday, January 6th, 2026, at 10 AM Pacific Time to grab a copy for yourself and/or any interested friends. It’s the same situation as usual: Eight games are on offer, all of which can be redeemed on Steam, plus a one-month subscription to IGN Plus for anyone who might be interested in giving that a try. As is tradition, I’ve prepared a rundown of the bundle for you. Let’s begin!
First on the stage is Nine Sols, developed and published by RedCandleGames. Nine Sols presents itself as “a lore-rich, hand-drawn 2D action-platformer” in which you’ll “embark on a journey of Asian fantasy, explore the land once home to an ancient alien race, and follow a vengeful hero’s quest to slay the 9 Sols, formidable rulers of this forsaken realm.” Nine Sols touts the fact that its combat is “inspired” by Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. I’m afraid I can’t speak to that in either direction because I’ve learned to instinctively give quite a wide berth to anything that’s remotely Dark Souls-adjacent.
Following that, we’ve got Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name, a game whose mouthful of a title I henceforth refuse to type out again. I’m not sure if this is a spin-off of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Yakuza series, or a continuation of it, or what. What I do know is that the titular “man who erased his name” must have done a really poor job of that because it’s instantly obvious to anyone who’s even remotely familiar with the Yakuza series that the man in question is Kazuma Kiryu, the player character in almost every mainline Yakuza game.
Game number three, which is in an unfortunate position on this list because of its title, is Streets of Rage 4. Developed and published by Dotemu, Streets of Rage 4 is — wait for it — a continuation of the Streets of Rage series of beat-‘em-up titles. Dotemu seems to take quite a bit of pride in Streets of Rage 4, since its page within this bundle touts the fact that “Streets of Rage 4 builds upon the classic trilogy’s gameplay with new mechanics, beautiful hand drawn visuals and a God[-] tier soundtrack.” Those things are all subjective, but you can’t deny their confidence.
Up next is Lost Skies, developed by Bossa Studios and published by Humble Games. Lost Skies presents itself as an “action-adventure” game in which you’ll “embark on a high-flying journey through the remnants of ancient civilizations and uncover the mysteries behind their downfall. As you traverse skies teeming with wonder and danger, harness advanced technology to overcome challenges and push the boundaries of human ingenuity.” In the interest of full transparency, I want to mention that Lost Skies is the only game in this bundle that currently has “mixed” reviews on Steam; do with that information what you will.
Next up is Intravenous 2, developed by Explosive Squat Games and published by HypeTrain Digital. Intravenous 2 puts you in the role of “Sean and Steve – an unlikely duo with a common mission: to save a life while taking down those responsible for Sean’s predicament. Your choices define your path in this world of old-school stealth, hardcore tactical gunplay, and dynamic storytelling.” Yeah, I suppose it is quite a predicament when you’re involved with anything that has to do with the phrase “explosive squat,” but that’s neither here nor there. Don’t let my facetiousness distract you from checking out Intravenous 2, dear reader.
Game number six is Dungeon Tycoon, developed by Lunheim Studios and published by Goblinz Publishing. Dungeon Tycoon purports to offer players “complete freedom to build and manage your own dungeon” in that “you not only design the layout, but choose the best places for whatever traps you decide to use, which monsters you will hire to face the heroes, and what treasures await those skilled enough to claim victory. Dungeon Tycoon is all about capitalizing on every second of every hero’s adventure in your mighty dungeon.” That’s pretty much everything I expected from a game called Dungeon Tycoon.
This bundle’s penultimate game is Beholder: Conductor, developed and published by Alawar. Beholder: Conductor is a spin-off of the Beholder series in which “you have been appointed senior conductor of the legendary train [“the Determination Bringer”], which all the citizens of our vast country are happy to see in their cities. Your responsibilities are maintaining order in the carriage assigned to you and assisting passengers along the way. Your tools are reporting, intimidation, searches[,] and ejection.” So, basically, your job is to make sure no shenanigans happen aboard your train and to make sure anyone who causes such shenanigans regrets their decision.
This bundle’s “last course” hopes you’ve got a craving for some intergalactic mystery meat. It’s Godlike Burger, developed by Liquid Pug (the pug didn’t deserve that!) and published by Daedalic Entertainment. “Godlike Burger puts you in the shoes of a maniac chef who makes the best burgers in the universe. The secret ingredient? The customers themselves! Run the restaurant, cook delicious burgers[,] and kill lots of aliens. [B]e careful – leave no witnesses uncooked!” So, it’s basically Sweeney Todd, except you’re a fry cook at an intergalactic burger joint instead of a barber. You can still imagine you’re playing as Johnny Depp, though.
That’s the end of our list this time around, with the exception of the token acknowledgment that this bundle also offers a one-month subscription to IGN Plus for any potentially interested takers. IGN Plus gives you a number of perks on IGN’s website, which I feel morally obligated to mention is owned by a parent company that has also owned Humble Bundle since 2017. It feels really weird to think that 2025 is almost over already, but now is our chance to manifest that 2026 will be a better year for games and for us all. I’ll see you in January, folks!
