Nintendo Reveals 2025 Holiday Deals

Another holiday season is nearly upon us, and Business Wire reports that Nintendo has several plans up its sleeve to make the most of that. Nintendo has announced several deals and in-store events that will be taking place sporadically between now and mid-December. I’ve summarized the details of what Nintendo has planned. To start off, the so-called “Cyber Deals sale” will be in effect from November 20th through December 3rd, 2025, at 11:59 pm Pacific Time. The discounts offered by this sale will be available through both the My Nintendo Store and the eShop on both Switch 2 and original Switch consoles.

Starting on Sunday, November 23rd, “select retailers — including both official Nintendo US stores [in San Francisco and New York City] — will offer deals on physical versions of Nintendo Switch games.” A few of these titles are as follows: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Super Mario Odyssey, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe. Although Business Wire mentioned the MSRP of these games, their report didn’t specify what sorts of deals and discounts would be available. Nor did they name any specific participating retailers beyond the two Nintendo stores.

Around that same time, “select amiibo” from The Legend of Zelda series and Street Fighter 6 will “all be $10 off MSRP at select retailers,” as will the Street Fighter 6 amiibo Card Starter Set. Starting November 30th at both Nintendo stores and “select retailers,” you’ll be able to get “$20 off MSRP on Samsung MicroSD Express Cards and get additional storage space for more games on Nintendo Switch 2.” Yet again, the Business Wire report from which I’ve sourced these details doesn’t name any such “specific retailers” despite its frequent use of that phrase, which I find somewhat annoying.
