Kingdom Come Deliverance II’s new DLC detailed

Kingdom Come Deliverance II is easily the most definitive historical action RPG of the last decade. If you haven’t heard of the game, it takes place in 15th-century Bohemia. The narrative is told from the perspective of Henry of Skalitz, who sets out on a journey to avenge his parents’ murder. Apart from being an open-world medieval sandbox ,the game features first-person combat and dozens of activities from blacksmithing to jousting.

Now players will have a chance to immerse themselves in even more medieval adventures next month. The new Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC for the game will launch on November 11th. This will be the game’s third major expansion, which is quite impressive given the already huge scale of the base game. However, as of now, it seems this will be the last content update for the game.

This expansion features a new story that will focus on uncovering a mystery at the Sedietz Monastery. Upon arriving, Henry soon discovers the monastery is under quarantine as a deadly plague is affecting the surrounding population. After becoming an assistant to the healer Sigismund Albicus, he then takes charge of investigating the various factions that make the monastery their home, uncovering the source of the disease in the process.

The team promises this new story will be “rich in quests, intriguing characters and unexpected endings.” Along with quests and a new area to explore, this DLC will also offer new weapons, items, and a unique outfit. The Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC is available for individual purchase for 13.99 or as part of the expansion pass bundle for 29.99 which includes the first two DLCs Brushes with Death and Legacy of the Forge. Kingdom Come Deliverance II is available now for PC through Steam, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5.
