One of my biggest issues with House Flipper for years has been its lack of Switch DLC. Because the Nintendo Switch DLC was done by a different studio, Frozen District mostly left the Switch version behind for a while. Now, this injustice has been fixed, with the developers adding a lot of content to the game.

House Flipper’s Farm DLC joins the Garden DLC and Pets DLC on Switch. In addition, the developers have also released a “Reborn” update to the game, adding new items, improved functionality for planting plants, and various enhancements. Here is what the press release says about the announcement:

“Today is the long-awaited day by all gamers who love [the] House Flipper franchise! Farm DLC is now available on Nintendo Switch. The launch is accompanied by a free Reborn Update and various bundles, so all game fans could pick something, that suits their gaming needs best.

The expansion and bundles launch is accompanied by a free update called the Reborn Update, which includes new items, improved mechanics for planting garden plants, improved grass texture during mowing, and many other enhancements.

The new expansion offers unique mechanics and tasks related to farming. With House Flipper – Farm DLC, renovation enthusiasts can try their hand at being farm owners. The expansion allows players to create and manage their own farm, including animal husbandry and crop cultivation. On their farm, players are responsible for activities such as sowing and harvesting crops, as well as feeding and caring for animals.

In House Flipper – Farm DLC, players will find a total of 11 new story missions, including building a chicken coop and renovating a go-kart track. The expansion enriches the gameplay with 9 entirely new skills, such as painting facades with a paint gun and using a drone for crop fertilization.

Among the new features offered by the Farm DLC are horseback riding, a rest mechanic after farm work, and the ability to pet animals and create enclosures for them.

Players have access to a total of 5 new plots that can be freely developed to create farms or ranches. The developers have also prepared over 1850 new items [sic], mainly related to farm life.

There are plenty of other DLC packs that aren’t on Nintendo Switch yet, but this is a step in the right direction. Switch fans have a lot to look forward to as well, with things like the Luxury DLC adding all sorts of other great things. I’m just glad the Switch version of House Flipper is getting some kind of love.
