Well, it seems my recent sarcastic remarks toward Blizzard Entertainment may have had a positive effect. I recently covered a deluge of new details about the upcoming World of Warcraft: Legion Remix event, but the dates of when that event will start and end were conspicuous by their absence. Since then, multiple WoW news outlets, namely Icy Veins, have done some digging and appear to have found that particular bit of information.

Disclaimer: Blizzard has not publicly confirmed any of this information as of this article’s publication.

Now then, the Legion Remix event will be coming to WoW alongside its Patch 11.2.5 content update. Patch 11.2.5 is currently available on WoW’s Public Test Realm (“PTR”), which is a separate version of WoW that allows players to test upcoming content and alert Blizzard about any bugs or other issues before those updates reach live game servers. The PTR version of Patch 11.2.5 was made available on August 14th, 2025. The PTR also currently allows players to test the Legion Remix event for two weeks. Icy Veins found more information about Legion Remix via the PTR’s in-game calendar.

According to the PTR’s in-game calendar, the Legion Remix event will be available for a period of 15 weeks, from October 7th, 2025, to January 19th, 2026. The dates for last year’s Mists of Pandaria Remix event were first discovered in this exact same way, and those ultimately turned out to be accurate, even before Blizzard publicly confirmed them. According to Icy Veins, this schedule for Legion Remix is “in line with the expected launch date of the Midnight expansion.” Considering that 2024’s Mists of Pandaria Remix event concluded exactly one week before the launch of The War Within expansion, that’s certainly plausible.

In my recent roundup of additional details about Legion Remix, I mentioned that Blizzard hadn’t yet addressed the matter of the Evoker class, which was added well after Legion was current. That appears to have since changed: Word has it that the Evoker class won’t be playable at all in Legion Remix. It seems Blizzard has made the (understandable) decision to exclude Evokers from Legion Remix because including them would have required Blizzard to hurriedly design and implement an Order Hall and three Artifact Weapons for Evokers. Those are the kinds of important details that require plenty of time and attention.

Since Dracthyr characters can now play as more classes than just Evokers, however, I’d imagine Dracthyr will be playable in Legion Remix. I would expect that the new Earthen allied race will also be playable in Legion Remix, though Blizzard hasn’t said anything about that as of this article’s publication. As a final note, I want to emphasize again that Blizzard hasn’t yet confirmed any of the details I’ve reported here. I would expect these details to be reliable, considering the precedent set by Mists of Pandaria Remix; however, it’s essential to remember that all this information could still be subject to change.
