Monday, the strange but nice-looking card game, Sultan’s Game, sold 1 million copies and has major updates coming as a result. Tuesday, the “Winds of Mysterious Fortune” event is back in WoW, and Reclaim The Sea is out now on Steam. Wednesday, Culinary Wizard is free on Steam, Kaizen: A Factory Story is out also now, and Ready or Not is now on Consoles. Yeah, a bit of a slow week for news.

Moving on to the Epic Games Store, and it is the start of another summer sale, so Epic might as well offer something big. This week, you can pick up Sid Meier’s Civilization VI Platinum Edition. This includes the base game, 6 DLCs, and 2 expansions to the 4X strategy game that’s actually enjoyed by the majority. While Civ VII only released a few months ago, many still want to moan about X or Y things – some of which I get, others I don’t. This doesn’t include the play about pieces of feces that was kicked up because some people can’t do anything for themselves, particularly about reading privacy policy agreements.

If you’re old like me, then you might be more sedated by 2005’s Civ 4, or hearing “The drones need you, they look up to you” at random points in your day. However, I have it on good authority (i.e, David) that in fact if you’re looking for a more modern experience, then you’ll be snorting “gig-leh-a-mesh” for days and days. It helps if you can be patient, though, and read practically everything. Something I have some trouble with.

The second offering, this one for mobile, is for Draw Me A Pixel’s There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension, an attempt at comedy by being a point & click puzzle game. However, its comedy is in that The Play That Goes Wrong sort of way, rather than something with a bit more wit, at least from what I can seem to gather. That’s all fine, but keep in mind that this is for Android worldwide and iOS in the EU, so your chunky thumbs are in the way half the time.

All this week, you can pick up Sid Meier’s Civilization VI Platinum Edition and There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension on the Epic Games Store, on PC and mobile respectively, until the 24th of July. Onto next week, and I think those endless runner mobile games you see advertised between hardcore furry porn on the internet are more interesting than Legion TD 2. A game made by a studio that’s now owned by the same people who made that bloody annoying Bloons TD 6; a CoolMathGames.com series if I’ve ever seen one.
